 An anomalous temperature-dependent photoconductivity increase
of poly-N-epoxy<->propylcarbazole films doped by polymethine
dyes has been found to to be associated with that traps for non-equilibrium
charge carriers are formed in these films under irradiation and those
traps are destroyed when the temperature increases. The above traps
cause a broadening of the high-temperature shoulder of thermostimulated
luminescence curves after preliminary film irradiation by visible
or UV light at 250-320K and the appearance of a new narrow
peak near the preirradiation temperature.
