Effect of low doping levels (I2FeCl3)
on the poly-para-phenylene
(PPP) structure and temperature dependence of conductivity
has been studied in the temperature range 293-973 K
using thermogravimetry, IR spectroscopy, X-ray and
elemental analysis. The temperature dependence of low-doped PPP conductivity
has been found to be defined by specific features of its molecular
and supramolecular structure; in the temperature range 403-573 K,
that dependence can be described in the frame of Kivelson theory (interpolaron
jumping).
