Two new optoelectronic devices basing on nonusual optical and optoelectronic principles for thin films optical parameter control are presented: (i) SPR-4m for separate determination of n and d of thin transparent layers using the surface plasmon resonance measurements and (ii) planar polarization interferometer PPI-1 to measure biomolecules adsorption kinetic with superhigh sensitivity (less 1 ng/cm3). Physical limitation of both methods are discussed.
