Effect of thermal pretreatment conditions on the stabilization of paramagnetic oxygen in Al2O3 structure

Effect of thermal pretreatment conditions of g-Al2O3 and a-Al2O3 powders in reducing and oxidiing atmospheres on the stabilization of adsorbed paramagnetic oxygen after an UV irradiation has been studied. Analysis of EPR spectra investigation data has shown that it is possible to identify and study the nature of centers and the stabilization form of paramagnetic oxygen in Al2O3type oxide structures.
