Physical and mechanical properties of Remanium GM 700 alloy of CoCrMo system used in stomatology have been studied. The alloy has been cast in laboratory. Optical microscopy of the deformed sample surface has shown that the alloy has a coarse-grained structure. Temperature dependences of Young modulus E and logarithmic decrement delta have been measured in the temperature range of 5.5 to 300 K as well as that of microhardness Hv in the range of 77 to 300 K. The elastic limit sigmael and the conventional yield limit sigma0.2 at T = 300 K have been determined. The alloy has been shown to exhibit a high elasticity and low ultrasound absorption, a high strength and hardness, and to retain plasticity at least up to the liquid nitrogen temperature. The low-temperature plasticity is of thermoactivated character. The correlations between the elastic modulus and plasticity characteristics are typical of high-strength materials.
