Study and characterization of composite based on sugar palm stem powder reinforced by matrix polyester resin, epoxy resin and polyurethane resin

Studies and characterization of composites based on sugar palm stem powder reinforced by matrix polyester resin, epoxy resin, and polyurethane resin using conventional mold and press techniques have been carried out. The content of sugar palm stem powder was varied within 2 to 10 wt. %, i.e., 90-98 wt. % of the polyester, epoxy and polyurethane resins. The pressure used was 300 MPa, and the temperature was 120
