Processes of electrochemical preparation and doping of soluble conducting polymers based on 3-methyl-4-phenylthiophene and poly (N-epoxypropylcarbazole) (PEPC) as well as their physico-chemical properties have been studied. Basing on the study of photoelectrophysical and spectral characteristics of heterostructure including polycrystal cadmium telluride and doped PEPC the possibility to use conducting PEPC usage in solid photogalvanic cell for light energy conversion to electrochemical power has been shown posseses a spectral sensibility in ultraviolet, visible and near infra-red ranges.
