Effect of a high-power laser pulse on the surface laser treatment
conditions of a material has been considered under account for non-linearity
of the pulse absorption in the material volume. An exact analytical
solution of the appropriate heat conductivity problem has been obtained
as the space-time temperature behaviour. Basing on that solution,
the surface temperature dynamics determining the above-mentioned threshold
conditions has been considered. An account for the volume absorption
non-linearity on the basis of two-level model has been shown to result
always in an increase of the material destruction threshold.
