Institute of Scintillation Materials, STC "Institute for Single Crystals", National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, 60 Nauky Ave., 61072 Kharkiv, Ukraine
Abstract:
The polymerization conditions of a polystyrene-based scintillation composition with a high content of activator (40 wt. %) were selected and optimized. The composition and polymerization mode of a relatively large neutron-sensitive plastic scintillator (mass 1 kg) are proposed.
Keywords:
plastic scintillator, activator, polymerization mode, n/γ-discrimination.
